Welcome to BLACKBURN COLLEGE
Blackburn College was established in 1888 which means we have been providing education for over 120 years! What’s more we are one of the largest and most successful colleges in the North West.

The College was awarded the Training Quality Standard (TQS) with excellence in Childhood Studies, Textiles And School Support Staff in September 2008. TQS is only awarded to organisations who deliver high quality, high impact, flexible training for businesses. Blackburn College is one of only a few Colleges who has the TQS with excellence in three subject areas.
Blackburn College has a Beacon Award for its excellence in teaching and learning.
A multi-million development programme to create a world-class campus. Phase one, the £7 million St Paul’s Centre was opened in 2007 and Phase two, the £14 million University Centre was officially opened in 2009. The third phase to create a new 'Core Building' will begin in 2010.
Foundation Degrees and Honours Degrees awarded by Lancaster University, University of Glamorgan and University of Central Lancashire.
Flexible learning – evening, weekend and day-time courses to fit around your lifestyle and family or work commitments.
High quality advice and guidance - in December 2009 Blackburn College was re-accredited the Matrix Quality Standard for Customer Care, one of only a few Further Education Colleges who have been awarded the Standard for a third time.
Excellent links with employers – we are currently working with a range of employers to ensure that our courses provide students with the skills employers need at Blackburn College we have excellent progression routes, which means you can study from Entry Level right through to a Masters degree.

6. English course for student with 5.5 bands in IELTS—3 MONTHS --GBP1500
